The House Tour. The entire house was cosmetically renovated largely in 2016/2017, with additional updates through 2020.

The owners wanted to bring a mix of modernity and American heritage to the house, with the vision of making it functional and comfortable for a relaxing escape from the city. Their approach was to create a simple, neutral color palette that could adapt to everyone’s aesthetic, mixed with accent walls and touches of color. A full list of updates is available upon request.

The house itself is laid out over two floors. The first floor features a large, comfortable living room with a wood stove and loads of sunlight.

Meander through a well-appointed kitchen and formal dining room and on to the two first floor bedrooms. There is one bathroom on this floor, which comes with a clawfoot tub and shower.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms, along with a shared bathroom.

The Grounds. The pool is particularly well-suited for entertaining, with it's sunny and wild setting and the gazebo, which is fitted with electricity and perfect for grilling, music and cocktails at sunset.

The grounds are an array of opportunities for activity and relaxation: the heated, in-ground pool for summertime lounging; a fire pit for stargazing and storytelling; a large grassy garden, great for lawn games; trails for exploring.

The vegetable/flower gardens and chicken coop give a leg up to the aspiring homesteader, as well.

The Area. The house offers perfect seclusion while still being easily accessible to town. When venturing out, you'll find that Jeffersonville is centrally located to all of the up and coming social hubs in this part of the Catskills. Livingston Manor, with its breweries, wine shops, restaurants and hiking, is just a short 15 minute drive. Callicoon's swimming holes, farmer's market and vintage movie theater are just 15 minutes in the other direction. Narrowsburg, a charming town on the Delaware with excellent dining, is 30 minutes away.
